Ann Sorrell BA(Hons)1st is a Classical Homeopath and writer. She first encountered Classical Homeopathy in Johannesburg, South Africa in the late 1970s via Samuel Hahnemann’s Organon of Medicine and James Tyler Kent’s Lectures on Homoeopathic Philosophy. She was also awarded a Diploma in Applied Psychology in South Africa in 1982. Ann has had over 40 years’ experience in traditional homeopathy worldwide following a formal three-year college training in Hahnemannian principles in the UK in the 1980s; this curriculum included anatomy, physiology and pathology.
Ann is an Advisor to, and a Member of, the International Academy of Classical Homeopathy in Alonissos, Greece and is studying with the renowned founder, Professor George Vithoulkas, either in situ, in Webinars, or online. She is an advocate of the Academy’s accredited E-Learning Program in Classical Homeopathy which is taught in a number of medical universities worldwide, and is a Faculty Member in the new Vithoulkas College of Classical Homeopathy (UK Branch of IACH).
Ann is also active online in the promotion and education of Hahnemannian traditional classical homeopathy on various internet platforms. She has written and published seven self-help books with their accompanying promotional videos, and various articles. In 2008 she was awarded a BA (Hons) First Class (with Distinction) Open from the Open University in the United Kingdom; subjects included “Medicine and society in Europe 1500-1930”, “The rise of scientific Europe 1500-1800”, “Reading Classical Greek” and “Introduction to the Human Genome”.
She is a Member (Affiliate) of the Faculty of Homeopathy (UK), and also a member of MENSA International and MENSA UK. Ann has a private international consultancy in classical homeopathy.
