I started my journey in health and well-being in 2007 when studying for my diploma in craniosacral therapy (qualifying in 2010). This is a beautiful and gentle but deep practice that is suitable for all ages from birth through to palliative end of life care.
I am also qualified in holistic massage as I know that some people prefer, and their bodies respond more to, this deeper level of physical touch. This can be a great way to relax muscles and release tension in specific muscles and in the whole body.
I am also a qualified occupational therapist with experience in roles in:
Mental health (charity organisation) supporting people through group work, gardening, cooking, etc., alongside 1:1 sessions
Physical health community work (local authority) supporting people with their mobility at home
Adults who have learning disabilities (NHS team) offering support with mental and physical health, sensory needs and skills development work.
I can visit you in your home if you are local to the area (petrol costs may apply if more than a 30 minute drive ) and I can work with you remotely (online) for some occupational therapy assessments and consultations.
