My approach focuses on what you want to achieve rather than having to unpick your past. I use a variety of modalities, including Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, the Control Method and IEMT.
We will work directly with the subconscious part of your mind, the most powerful and influential part of your mind. Your subconscious, responsible for over 95% of your brain’s activity, is like a computer, holding your programmed patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaviour. You react automatically to experiences in the way you have been “trained” to do by your previous experiences. This happens outside of your cognitive control.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) will help you to take control of the way you think, feel and respond, aligning your subconscious mind with the aims and goals of your conscious mind. You will learn some of the science behind how your brain works in relation to how you are feeling, and how you can help your brain to work better for you in what you want to achieve. It is a collaborative approach, which will guide you to access your own inner resources and capabilities, helping you to feel empowered, calm, positive, and in control.
SFH is a combination of psychotherapy and hypnosis. Based on the latest research in neuroscience, it utilises a powerful combination of modern therapies (CBT, NLP, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy), which will help you make significant change within a relatively short period of time. Sessions are structured around a framework of practical and well-researched strategies that will guide you to make positive change and live your preferred future.
The Control System is a way of accessing the subconscious mind without the use of hypnosis (trance). In this way we can create rapid and positive change in the way you think, feel and behave. We will remove any barriers and limiting beliefs, putting you back in control to create the change you want.
What to expect from the FREE Initial Consultation:
This is an opportunity for us to meet and for me to find out about what you would like help with and assess which approach will be best for you. I will explain how your brain works in relation to why you have come to see me and how I can help. It is a chance for you ask any questions, so that you feel comfortable and informed about the process, and confident that you are choosing the right therapist for you.
The Initial consultation takes place via Zoom and can last up to one hour.
