Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) involves tapping with the fingers on acupressure points on the face and upper body. As we tap we’ll say words and phrases related to the issue you’re working on. It’s extremely effective at reducing the level of anxiety, sensation or negative emotion you’re feeling. It can help with a range of issues including stress and anxiety, money worries, physical aches and pains, feelings of hurt or anger, painful memories, cravings, phobias, dealing with difficult people, low self worth and lack of self confidence.
We will aim to tap on all the issues that are contributing to a problem for you. For example, if we’re working on self-confidence, we might tap on recent events where you felt a lack of self-confidence and once those have been cleared, we would look at any historical events that are contributing. I hold a confidential, non-judgemental space in order that you can share authentically about the thoughts and feelings you have around an issue or memory.
Some issues will only require one or two sessions to resolve, whilst others may require a series of sessions, or you may like to work on a number of different issues on an ongoing basis. I work online or face to face in Clapham, London.
