My aim is to apply the understanding that Ayurveda brings in a practical way, with simple steps to help transform your life, so that you can experience true physical and emotional well being.
Alongside the Ayurvedic approach, I offer Systemic Healing, which is a form of 1:1 trauma work, which draws on a range of different modalities as well as the fruits of my own healing journey.
Whether your issue is physical, mental or emotional; or a combination of all three, I will work alongside you to help you identify the underlying causes and make simple, manageable changes to take you in the direction of better health and wellbeing.
In Ayurveda the focus is on digestion. Physical digestion is the key to absorbing the nutrients in our food. Mental and emotional digestion equals peace of mind and is the foundation for happiness and nourishing relationships.
Ayurveda also approaches each person as an individual: you are a unique combination of the five elements (manifesting as Vata, Pitta and Kapha). Using traditional pulse reading I can determine any imbalances which need to be addressed and together we can devise a strategy to rebalance your life which may involve diet and/or herbal medicines or treatments.
As well as a range of chronic health issues, I also support individuals with anxiety, PTSD and complex PTSD.
