My name is Toni Douglas-Gooden, I have been a Homeopath for 27 years.

2010 – Present

The Calthorpe Community Gardens – Homeopathic Clinic

Since 2010 I have been running a weekly low-cost homeopathic clinic at the Calthorpe Community Gardens.

2010 – Present

Since early 2010 I have been working for Camden & Islington NHS Foundation Trust as a Clinical Support Worker – Adult Mental Health

2002 and 2006 – Owner/Manager

Natural Health Centre, Fortess Road, Kentish Town

Much of its work was funded by Sure Start Camden.

The clinic worked with Mum’s, Dad’s, Children, and Young & Old Adults; many of whom were Sure Start members.

The clinic offered them ‘low cost’ treatments, such as massage, acupuncture, and homeopathy. We also ran a number of ‘homeopathic’ first aid training course, which were very popular with many for the members.

I also organised health talks, bookings and advertising, and was responsible for fundraising and the Centre’s finances.

Trainer – 2002- 2004

Drugscope/Sure Start, various locations

Running a number of training courses in homeopathy for both Drugscope and Sure Start clients and members. These courses ran over two days and focussed on remedies which could be used in first aid and acute situations and included self-medication, first aid. At Sure Start, I designed and implemented an advanced course which comprised the science, art and philosophy of homeopathy.

Outreach Homeopath 1997- Present

Working as a homeopath in outreach projects set up with various charitable and statutory organisations and their clients, including ARP, St. Mungo’s, The Department of Health, Mind, The Big Issue, Sure Start, Stuart Low Trust, The Highgate Centre 2002 – 2014 and The Calthorpe Community Garden 2010 – Present.
