Anna Betz

Anna Betz is a member of the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy (CPP). She has practised as a medical herbalist both in the UK and abroad for over 30 years. She worked for six years as a community herbalist in Northern Cyprus, where she published many articles about the use of local herbs and foods. For the last 10+ years she has studied and practised systemic and evolutionary approaches to health informed by Endobiogenic Medicine also known as Terrain medicine. This continues to enrich and deepen her practice as a herbalist, mental health professional and coach. She is a co-founder of the Endobiogenic Medicine Society in the UK. www.endobio.org.uk

She works in a GP practice in Hove, where she has facilitated regular sessions for patients suffering from preventable diseases such as diabetes, pre-diabetes and other insulin-metabolism-related disorders. As part of a 2 year pilot programme for patients with Chronic Trauma she has led Foraging Walks. As a lead practitioner in dementia in the NHS, she pioneered a successful interactive ‘brainfood project’. This helped patients and their carers to learn how to optimise brain health and how to prevent or slow down cognitive decline and dementia.
Systems thinking, and its application in her life practice and healing work, is her primary focus. Her passion is raising awareness about health conditions, helping people to understand what is happening and what we can do to heal both individually and as communities from a holistic perspective.
